About the Winery

Terreno is a family-owned estate in the heart of Chianti Classico, just outside Greve in Chianti, where the Swedish Ruhne family has been producing wine since 1988. Led by Sofia Ruhne since 2015, the 150-hectare estate—with 20 hectares of vineyards—crafts terroir-driven Sangiovese-based wines, including Chianti Classico and Gran Selezione, using certified organic farming and artisanal winemaking techniques since 2014.
