About the Winery

Tenuta La Chiusa is a historic wine estate on the island of Elba, near Portoferraio, with roots dating back to the early 1900s when local families cultivated vines for personal use. Today the estate spans 10 hectares of vineyards planted with Cabernet Sauvignon, Cabernet Franc, Merlot, Petit Verdot, Malbec, and Vermentino, producing wines that express the unique Suvereto terroir including Nero del Cornia and Quantisassi.
