About the Winery

Salicutti is Montalcino's first certified organic estate, founded in 1990 by Francesco Leanza and now owned by Felix and Sabine Eichbauer, with 11 hectares of biodynamic vineyards at 420-500 meters in the southeast of Montalcino. The estate produces three single-vineyard Brunello di Montalcino wines from Sangiovese grown on fossil-rich calcareous soils, achieving global acclaim for their mineral intensity and purity.
