About the Winery

Poggiotondo is an organic wine estate in Cerreto Guidi founded in 1968, now managed by Alberto and Alessandra Antonini, who craft terroir-driven Chianti wines from Sangiovese, Canaiolo, and Colorino. Certified organic since 2014, the estate uses concrete tanks and untoasted oak casks to preserve the vitality and texture of its wines across three distinct vineyard areas in western Chianti.
