About the Winery

Poggiosecco is a certified organic and biodynamic winery founded in 1967 in the Montalbano Hills between Cerreto Guidi and Vinci, producing Chianti and sparkling wines from Sangiovese and indigenous varieties. Run by Marco Filipello and Giuseppe Pluchino, the 12-hectare estate follows biodynamic principles with spontaneous fermentation and minimal intervention to create authentic, terroir-driven wines.
