About the Winery
Poggio Antico is one of the highest-altitude estates in Montalcino, founded in 1976 through the merger of three historic farms and now farming 37 hectares of Sangiovese at elevations of 500-620 meters. Certified organic since 2020, the estate produces approximately 100,000 bottles annually, including two distinct Brunello styles: a traditional expression aged in Slavonian oak and the modern 'Altero' aged in French tonneaux, along with Rosso di Montalcino and the single-vineyard 'Madonna delle Grazie.'
