About the Winery
Poggio al Tesoro is a 105-hectare estate in Bolgheri founded in 2001 by Marilisa Allegrini and her late brother Walter, now managed by Marilisa with her daughters Carlotta and Caterina, with 64 hectares of vineyards. Located near Ornellaia, the estate produces acclaimed Bolgheri wines including 'Sondraia' Bolgheri Superiore DOC, 'Dedicato a Walter' (100% Cabernet Franc), 'Il Seggio' Bolgheri Rosso, and Solosole Vermentino, practicing bio-sustainability across vineyards in Le Sondraie and Via Bolgherese.
