Poggio al Sole is an organic winery in Badia a Passignano in the Chianti Classico area between Florence and Siena, owned by the Davaz family since 1990. Spanning 27 hectares of vineyards at 420-530 meters above sea level, the estate produces authentic Sangiovese-based Chianti Classico wines, including the acclaimed 100% Sangiovese Gran Selezione Casasilia, along with other varieties and olive oil, with a history dating back to the 12th century when wine was first produced on this estate.
