About the Winery

Poggiarellino is a small 30-acre farm in a peaceful corner of the Val d'Orcia hills near Montalcino, with just 3 acres of vineyards registered entirely in the Brunello di Montalcino DOCG. The estate produces both Brunello and Rosso di Montalcino from 100% Sangiovese, with the only difference between the two wines being the duration of aging, which for Rosso lasts at least one year in oak barrels without filtration.
