Poggerino

About the Winery

Poggerino is a 43-hectare estate in Radda in Chianti owned by siblings Benedetta and Piero Lanza, descendants of the old Florentine noble Prince Ginori Conti family, with 12 hectares of vineyards planted primarily to Sangiovese. The estate produces Chianti Classico DOCG, including the acclaimed Riserva 'Vigna Bugialla,' as well as the Super-Tuscan 'Primamateria' and Aurora Rosato IGT from vineyards at 400-500 meters on galestro soils in a unique microclimate surrounded by forests.
