About the Winery
Poderi Borselli is a certified organic and biodynamic estate at the foot of Mount Amiata near Castel del Piano, founded in the 1990s and now run by Davide with a focus on natural winemaking and sustainability. The estate produces Montecucco Sangiovese DOCG and Tuscan PGI extra virgin olive oil from native clones of ancient vines and centuries-old olive trees, using minimal SO2, no filtration, spontaneous fermentations, and renewable energy including a 20 kW photovoltaic system and olive pit heating.
