About the Winery
Podere Prospero is a small 3.8-hectare estate in Bolgheri along the Via Bolgherese, founded in 2003 by Carla Prospero and her husband Sergio Zenato, now managed with their children Alberto and Nadia. The estate produces Bolgheri DOC wines from Cabernet Sauvignon, Cabernet Franc, and Merlot planted on medium sandy soils at 50 meters above sea level, with the flagship Bolgheri Rosso aged 18 months in French oak barrels for an elegant, balanced, and extremely drinkable style.
