About the Winery
Podere Bellosguardo is a historic 13-hectare estate in the upper Casentino valley north of Arezzo, near the Foreste Casentinesi National Park, in a territory that survived the phylloxera plague over a century ago. Founded in 1880 by the great-grandfather of current owners Luca and Nicoletta Miraglia, the estate specializes in Syrah—present in Tuscany since the 19th century—along with Pied Franc (Sangiovese and Syrah), a white blend of Müller Thurgau, Viognier, and Moscato, and a passito dessert wine, all vinified using ancestral techniques and aged in second and third passage French barriques.
