About the Winery
Piombaia is a biodynamic winery in Montalcino born from the union of the Rossi family from Montalcino and the Cantini family from Pisa, now managed by siblings Vittorio, Francesco, and Cecilia in the fifth generation. Spanning 210 hectares at altitudes between 400 and 600 meters, the estate has practiced organic and biodynamic agriculture since 2008, producing Brunello di Montalcino DOCG, Rosso di Montalcino DOC, and Sant'Antimo using spontaneous fermentation without added yeasts or sulfites.
