About the Winery
Pieve de' Pitti is a historic 198-hectare estate in Terricciola in the heart of the Terre di Pisa, named after the noble Florentine Pitti family and centered around the ruins of the medieval Castle of Pava. Founded in 2001 by Sergio, Ida, and winemaker Caterina, the estate produces Cerretello Chianti Superiore DOCG, Moro di Pava Chianti Riserva DOCG, Scopaiolo Syrah IGT, and Vermentino from soils rich in shells and fossils, practicing sustainable farming without pesticides or chemical fertilizers.
