About the Winery
Pieve di Campoli is a large agricultural estate spanning approximately 450 hectares across 7 municipalities in the Chianti and Chianti Classico areas near Florence, with over 50 hectares of specialized vineyards and 20,000 olive trees. Founded in 1985 as the agricultural arm of the Archdiocese of Florence, the estate produces Chianti Classico DOCG, Chianti DOCG, Vin Santo del Chianti Classico, and IGT wines from Sangiovese, Syrah, Merlot, and other varieties, with a historic 15-hectare plot of old vines planted in 1974 that serves as a living archive of traditional Chianti varieties.
