About the Winery
Pietrafitta is a historic estate spanning 233 hectares in the heart of Chianti Classico near Castellina in Chianti, with approximately 12 hectares of vineyards planted on calcareous-marl soils at altitudes between 360 and 500 meters. The estate produces Chianti Classico DOCG along with three Toscana IGT wines and extra virgin olive oil from vineyards surrounded by extensive woodlands and ancient pastures that preserve the natural balance of the landscape.
