About the Winery

Piancornello is an organic winery in the Sesta zone of Montalcino, situated on a plateau overlooking the Val d'Orcia and Monte Amiata, producing Brunello di Montalcino from approximately 20 hectares of vineyards. Founded in 1950 by Zefiro when he purchased the 1700s casale, the estate is now run by the fourth generation using biologic methods on steep, rocky red soils that give their wines elegance, sincerity, and generosity.
