About the Winery
Poggio al Chiuso is a historic winery in Barberino Tavarnelle in the Chianti Colli Fiorentini DOCG zone, where the Corti family has crafted wines for four generations since purchasing the land in 1956. The estate farms vineyards planted predominantly to Sangiovese, producing Chianti DOCG since 1971 and more recently the acclaimed Rosso IGT Le Cappelle and Voltaccia49 from Merlot, now run by brothers Marco, Matteo, and Andrea Corti.
