About the Winery

Pietralta is an organic estate near Gambassi Terme, close to San Gimignano in Tuscany, founded in 1983 by Pierfranca Lattuada and now run with her son Stefano. Of 37 total hectares only 5 are under vine and 1 under olive groves, with the rest left wild, producing natural wines including Chianti DOCG, Chianti Riserva, and the award-winning Solivagus IGT from Sangiovese, Trebbiano, Malvasia, Canaiolo, and Colorino.
