About the Winery
Ottomani, meaning 'Eight Hands,' is a winery in the Strada in Chianti area of Tuscany founded by four friends who grew up together, certified organic and practicing biodynamic viticulture. The estate produces Chianti Classico DOCG and Chianti Superiore from indigenous Sangiovese and Canaiolo grown on limestone and clay soils, with spontaneous fermentation in concrete vats and minimal sulfur use under 40 mg/L.
