About the Winery
Montoro E Selvole is a family farm in Greve in Chianti, in the heart of the Chianti Classico DOCG zone, run by the Matteuzzi family who craft traditional Chianti Classico from Sangiovese and Canaiolo Nero. The estate uses traditional methods including aging in old barrels, and maintains the historic practice of grafting vines from 60-70 year old mother vines selected by grandfather Emilio.
