About the Winery
La Spinosa is an organic farm founded in 1982 by a group of friends passionate about organic farming and wine, located in Barberino Tavarnelle in the heart of Chianti, spanning 70 hectares with 20 dedicated to vineyards. Certified organic since 1994, the estate produces 13 dry wines and one sweet wine from native varieties including Sangiovese, Canaiolo, Colorino, and Foglia Tonda, along with small percentages of Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon, and Chardonnay, plus exceptional extra virgin olive oil from centuries-old olive trees.
