About the Winery
La Querce is a 42-hectare organic estate in Impruneta in the heart of the Chianti Colli Fiorentini area, with 7 hectares of vineyards growing Sangiovese, Canaiolo, Colorino, and Merlot at 250 meters elevation. Founded when Gino Marchi acquired the property in 1960, the estate produces Chianti Colli Fiorentini DOCG, IGT wines including the amphora-aged Terra diVino Sangiovese, rosé, and a Canaiolo passito, along with extra virgin olive oil from 2,574 olive trees, with all products certified organic since 2019.
