About the Winery
La Colombina is a small, approximately 5-hectare family-run estate in Castelnuovo dell'Abate on the southeastern edge of the Brunello di Montalcino zone, founded in 1997 by Anna Maria and Alamiro Pecciarini. The estate's vineyards, scattered around the Abbazia di Sant'Antimo at 200-400 meters elevation on soils ranging from detritus to clay-rich hillsides, produce Brunello di Montalcino DOCG, Rosso di Montalcino, and Sant'Antimo wines praised by critics including Wine Advocate for their supple, sumptuous character and excellent value.
