About the Winery
Le Miccine is a certified organic and biodynamic family-owned estate in Gaiole in Chianti, located between Radda and Gaiole in the heart of Chianti Classico at around 400 meters elevation. Founded by Canadian-Italian Paula Papini-Cook, the 7-hectare vineyard produces approximately 30,000 bottles annually of handcrafted Sangiovese-focused wines including Chianti Classico, Riserva, and Gran Selezione, along with small productions of Vermentino and Merlot, using the traditional Alberello training system on rocky, calcareous soils.
