About the Winery
Le Masse di Lamole is a historic family winery in Lamole, Greve in Chianti, founded in 1880 by Emilio Socci and now run by Annamaria and Giuliano, recognized as one of the highest estates in Chianti Classico with vineyards reaching 700 meters altitude. The estate produces approximately 15,000 bottles annually of Chianti Classico DOCG aged in traditional chestnut casks, along with Chianti Classico Riserva, Gran Selezione, and the rare white wine 'I Cortacci di Lamole' from Trebbiano and Malvasia, while also cultivating the iconic iris flower that has become the winery's trademark.
