About the Winery
I Sodi is a historic estate in Gaiole in Chianti, in the heart of the Chianti Classico zone, acquired by the Casini family in 1973. The name derives from the hard, stony ground on which the farmhouse stands, and today the estate's 12 hectares of vineyards produce Chianti Classico DOCG and Riserva from 93-95% Sangiovese with Canaiolo, along with Vinsanto del Chianti Classico.
