About the Winery
Fattoria di Petrognano is a historic estate in Montelupo Fiorentino, owned by the Pellegrini family since 1963 and now in its fourth generation. Spanning 85 hectares with 25 hectares of certified organic vineyards at 250-300 meters altitude, the estate produces Chianti DOCG wines primarily from Sangiovese, Canaiolo and Trebbiano using traditional vinification in steel tanks and terracotta amphorae.
