About the Winery

Fattoria Montecchio is a historic estate of over 300 hectares in the oldest part of Chianti Classico near San Donato in Poggio, acquired by the Nuti family in 1973. The estate manages 30 hectares of vineyards producing Chianti Classico from Sangiovese, Cabernet Sauvignon and Merlot, along with a historic furnace for terracotta and an olive mill from 5,000 century-old olive trees.
