Fattoria Lavacchio

About the Winery

Fattoria Lavacchio is an historic organic estate atop Montefiesole hill at 450 meters above sea level, just 18 kilometers from Florence in the Chianti Rufina region. Dating to the 1700s and restored by the Lottero brothers in 1978, the estate was the first in Chianti Rufina to adopt organic farming, producing wines from Sangiovese, Merlot and Cabernet alongside olive oil and garden produce.
