About the Winery
Fattoria La Ripa is a historic estate on the border between Florence and Siena, with roots dating to the 15th century when it was owned by the Gherardini family of Mona Lisa fame. Spanning 140 hectares with 16 hectares of vineyards at 400 meters altitude, the estate has been certified organic since 2006 and produces Chianti Classico DOCG wines from Sangiovese and Canaiolo.
