About the Winery
Castello di Querceto is a historic estate in Greve in Chianti of Longobard origin, owned by the Francois family since 1897 and one of the 33 founding members of the Consorzio del Chianti Classico in 1924. The castle, which overlooks the historic Via Cassia Imperiale, preserves its medieval character and houses valuable antique wine collections dating back to the early 20th century, producing Chianti Classico wines that reflect the Greve terroir.
