About the Winery
Castello di Albola is a historic estate in Radda in Chianti with a winemaking tradition dating back to 1480, encompassing 900 hectares with 125 hectares of vineyards and 4,000 olive trees at the highest elevations in Chianti Classico. Acquired by the Zonin family in 1979, the estate produces wines including Chianti Classico DOCG, Riserva, and Gran Selezione from 90% Sangiovese, along with Chardonnay and Vin Santo, with the altitude imparting pronounced aromatics, structured tannins, and elegant acidity to the wines.
