About the Winery

Casteldelpiano is a small organic winery in Licciana Nardi, Lunigiana, in the northernmost part of Tuscany, housed in a restored 14th-century Malaspina castle that was converted into a residence in the 16th century. Owners Andrea and Sabina produce approximately 15,000 bottles annually from 2.5 hectares of vineyards, experimenting with indigenous and international varieties including Vermentino Nero, Pollera, Durella, Pinot Nero, and Merlot, crafting wines with natural fermentation and no additives.
