About the Winery

Casisano is a Brunello di Montalcino estate founded in 1990 and acquired by the Tommasi family in 2015, situated on a natural terrace at 480 meters overlooking the southeastern area of Montalcino with 22 hectares under vine. The estate produces Brunello di Montalcino, Rosso di Montalcino, and the single-vineyard Colombaiolo Riserva from 100% Sangiovese Grosso, with wines aged in Slavonian oak casks for three years, expressing the complexity and elegance of this prized southern Montalcino terroir rich in galestro stone.
