About the Winery
Casanuova is an organic artisanal winery in Figline e Incisa Valdarno in the Chianti hills, run by Thilo Besançon since 1988, with 3.5 hectares of vineyards and 7 hectares of olive groves on 31 hectares of land. The estate produces organic wines from Sangiovese, Vermentino, Merlot, and Cabernet Sauvignon using natural winemaking methods with wild yeasts and large oak vats, alongside high-quality extra virgin olive oil and grappa distilled from their own grapes.
