About the Winery

Carpineta Fontalpino is a certified organic winery in Castelnuovo Berardenga near Siena, owned by the Cresti family since 1967, with 30 hectares of vineyards dedicated to Sangiovese, Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon, Petit Verdot, and Alicante. Located near the historic Montaperti hill in the southern Chianti Classico zone, the estate produces both Chianti Classico and Chianti Colli Senesi DOCG wines along with their renowned Supertuscan IGT, with the second and third generations Filippo, Gioia, and Sara Cresti continuing the family tradition.
