About the Winery

Batzella is a Bolgheri winery in Castagneto Carducci founded in 2000 by Franco Batzella and Khanh Nguyen after careers in international finance. The estate's 7.5 hectares of vineyards, planted mainly to Cabernet Sauvignon and Cabernet Franc under the guidance of Professor Attilio Scienza, produce Bolgheri DOC wines of elegance and Mediterranean character.
