About the Winery
Basile is a family-run organic winery in Cinigiano, Maremma, founded in 1999 by Neapolitan-born Giovan Battista Basile on land that had been abandoned for 30 years. Spanning 34 hectares with eight hectares of organic vineyards within the Montecucco DOCG zone, the estate produces approximately 50,000 bottles of Sangiovese, Merlot, and Vermentino wines annually with zero environmental impact.
