About the Winery
Buondonno Casavecchia alla Piazza is an organic farm in Castellina in Chianti, in the heart of Chianti Classico, run by Gabriele Buondonno and Valeria Sodano since 1989. The estate produces Chianti Classico DOCG and Riserva from selected Sangiovese grapes, primarily from the historic Sicellino vineyard planted in the 1970s, with a focus on low yields and organic viticulture.
