About the Winery
Castello di Vicarello is a boutique wine estate perched 350 meters up in a renovated 12th-century borgo in Cinigiano, Maremma, now owned by Carlo and Aurora Baccheschi Berti. The six hectares of high-density, organically grown vineyards produce Bordeaux-inspired wines including Cabernet Franc, Cabernet Sauvignon, and Petit Verdot blends, alongside Sangiovese and Malbec, all crafted with consultant winemaker Maurizio Saettini.
