About the Winery

Amiata I Vini del Vulcano is a small, family-run estate on the slopes of Monte Amiata in the Montecucco DOCG area, founded by Simone and Stefania Toninelli on volcanic soils at 400-500 meters altitude. The estate produces three single-varietal Sangiovese wines — Lapillo IGT, Lavico Montecucco DOCG, and Cenere Montecucco Riserva DOCG — all hand-harvested and aged in steel tanks or French oak barrels.
