About the Winery

Albatreti is a family estate in Montalcino named after Podere Albatreti, derived from the Tuscan word for the strawberry tree that once covered the surrounding hills. Founded in 1995 by the Salvioni family on galestro-rich soils at 400-500 meters elevation, the estate produces Brunello di Montalcino and Rosso di Montalcino with remarkable aromatic complexity and a focus on traditional vineyard management.
