About the Winery

Cantine Gabriele Palmas is a family-run winery in the Nurra hills near Alghero, Sardinia, founded in the early 1970s by lawyer Giuseppe Palmas and now managed by his son Gabriele and wife Simona across 15 hectares of clay-sandy vineyards. Producing approximately 20,000 bottles annually — including Vermentino di Sardegna DOP, Cannonau di Sardegna DOP, Alghero Cabernet DOP, and Syrah IGP Isola dei Nuraghi — the estate earned global recognition when its Solotredici Vermentino was named 'Best Vermentino in the World' at the 2026 International Vermentino Wine Competition.
