About the Winery

Established in 1957 beneath Dobrovo Castle in Slovenia’s Goriška Brda region, Klet Brda is a cooperative of 400 farming families cultivating 1,000 hectares of steep, hand-tended vineyards on mineral-rich opoka soils. As one of the world’s leading producers of Rebula, the cellar produces a diverse range of white, red, rosé, sparkling, and dessert wines across multiple quality tiers including Bagueri, Krasno, and De Baguer, guided by a deep commitment to organic and sustainable vineyard practices.
