Zisola

About the Winery

Zisola is the Sicilian estate of the historic Mazzei family, established in 2003 near Noto in southeastern Sicily, where 24 hectares of vineyards are cultivated on calcareous soils at the edge of a UNESCO World Heritage baroque town. The estate specializes in Nero d'Avola grown using traditional Alberello (bush-trained) methods, alongside Syrah, Cabernet Franc, Grillo, and Catarratto, producing wines that balance the natural exuberance of Sicilian varieties with the freshness and elegance imparted by cooling Mediterranean breezes.
