About the Winery

Azienda Agricola Sofia is a family-run Etna winery in Solicchiata, founded in 2017 by siblings Carmelo and Valentina Sofia, named in honor of their father Gioacchino who still works in the vineyards. The estate organically farms approximately 3 hectares in the Contrada Piano dei Daini and Pietra Marina, producing fresh, mineral-driven Etna Rosso from Nerello Mascalese and a white blend of Carricante, Catarratto, Minella, and Inzolia.
