About the Winery

Azienda Agricola Buscemi is a unique high-altitude estate on Mount Etna near Bronte, founded in 2016 by winemaker Mirella Buscemi, a trained chemist inspired by her grandparents' vineyards. The Tartaraci vineyard sits at 3,215 feet above sea level with 90+ year-old bush vines of Nerello Mascalese, Grenache, Carricante, and Grecanico, producing micro-quantities of wines defined by pure volcanic tension.
