About the Winery

Eredi di Maio is a historic Etna winery in Milo, Sicily, with roots dating back to 1867 when Santo di Maio returned from Argentina to cultivate the family vineyards. The estate works with pre-phylloxera vineyards of Carricante and Nerello Mascalese on volcanic sandy soils at altitudes between 580 and 900 meters, producing Etna Bianco Superiore 'Affiu' and Etna Rosso 'Utri' from vines ranging from 10 to 120 years old.
